  7. The KF-920 is a software-based document processor for use under Microsoft
  8. Windows 3.1 and above.  It supports scanning, printing and basic image
  9. processing functions and is 100% compatible with the Kofax KIPP family of
  10. hardware scan and print controllers.  The KF-920 supports entry level SCSI
  11. scanners from Fujitsu, Ricoh, and Hewlett-Packard, running at speeds from 6
  12. ppm to 20ppm.  Scanners are connected to the PC via a SCSI adapter and the
  13. KF-920 performs image compression and decompression, scaling, rotation, and
  14. other image manipulation functions in the host PC.  No special compression
  15. hardware is required.
